Former student to teach Shakespeare class

"An Afternoon of No Fear Shakespeare" for students in grades four to six will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Quincy Community Theatre.

Tuition for this one-day workshop is $20.

Through activities, scenes and games, students of any experience level will have a chance to give Shakespeare a try in a fun environment.

The class will be led by Megan Miller, a former student and QCT actress. Miller made her on stage debut at QCT in junior high and graduated from Quincy High School in 2006. She is a junior at Illinois State University, where she is majoring in music education and acting. She is a member of Concert Choir and has been involved in ISU productions of "Tommy," "Spring's Awakening" and "Dracula."
